All Shooters Please Read

posted Apr 13, 2020, 7:08 AM by Michael Swartz

Cleanliness at the range has been an issue for quite some time, and seems to be getting worse as of late.  The FCC board is asking for all members and guests to make an extra effort to clean up after shooting-- both at the benches, and around the berms and target areas.  We attempt to maintain a safe and clean place to shoot, and now we are asking shooters to respect the club and other members by leaving the range in “as good or better” condition than when you arrived.

Please do your share by helping in these areas:

  • ·        Police your brass
  • ·        Go downrange and collect your targets when the range is at cease fire and the range lights are on.  DO NOT leave your targets for the next guy to shoot—no matter how good their condition.  The next guy will not pick them up either, because they are “not his”, and they end up on the ground.
  • ·        DO NOT shoot the target stands that are provided!  It takes a lot of time and effort to constantly keep the range supplied.  If they continue to be shot up, we will stop providing them, and shooters will have to bring their own.
  • ·        If we see shooters that repeatedly fail to clean up after themselves, we may be forced to revoke their membership.

We thank you all in advance for your cooperation, and for keeping our facilities in excellent condition.
